St Pancras International is quite interesting historical railway station in London. It was opened in 1868 in a neo-gothic building made from red bricks. In the late 20th century the railway station was rebuilt at a cost of £800 million. After the reconstruction the station became the prominent city landmark. In 1873 it was decided to open the hotel of 500 rooms. Hotel "Midland Grand" worked there for about 50 years and in 1935 was closed and rooms were rebuilt in the offices.

St Pancras International, Great Britain During the Second World War the building was seriously damaged. Thanks to local architects, the building was saved and renewed. The station adores travelers with its modern interior and decoration. St Pancras contains two levels platforms. The upper platforms were made especially for international trains. The station is the London terminus for Eurostar's high-speed trains to Paris.

This building is one of the most significant landmarks in London as there have placed several adorable sculptures. A large bronze statue "The Meeting Place", the bronze statue of John Betjeman, a famous poet, are the main points of interest at this station. At the palace of the old hotel in 2011 was opened a new modern one – St. Pancras Renaissance London Hotel. Next - Sirkeci Gari Station
