Miussera Temple, Abkhazia Once the church was located near a major settlement. It was one of the country's largest Christian objects. The history of the church is not certain. It came into neglect during the Russian-Turkish war. The settlement, which has been located next to it, was completely destroyed. Locals left these places, and the temple was left without its parishioners.

Over the past century, these places were completely at a mercy of natural forces. The ancient temple is surrounded by impenetrable forests, and some trees and bushes sprouted right through its foundation. At the same time, the solemnity and grandeur of this place weren't lost. Today the ancient temple is an obvious part of the tour route along the reserve. The ancient temple is sure to appeal to those who like to visit the most secret corners of the planet, as well as those who wish to make spectacular photos in the surreal style. Ivy-covered walls of the temple look just incredible. Next - Tsandripshsky Temple
