The museum was opened in an apartment, where the singer has lived for two years in the 30's of last century. The founder of the museum is Bernard Marshua. He is a big fan of Edith Piaf and her faithful assistant, who for many years was gathering a collection of things, one way or another connected with the singer. The unique museum has only two rooms. Priceless artifacts can be seen here at every step.
The apartment has a rich collection of personal belongings of Edith Piaf, her favorite clothes, lots of old posters, and photos. On the walls, you will notice exclusive portraits and old records. Connoisseurs of vintage stuff will love the antique furniture and old utensils exposed in the museum. Edith Piaf Museum in Paris is private, so it can only be visited by an appointment. A pleasant surprise waits for budget travelers and backpackers, as this museum is one of the few in Paris that you can visit for free.
