You can visit the museum-apartment of Mozart in Vienna. It is located at 5 Domgasse Street. The composer lived here for three years – in the period from 1784 to 1787. His apartment was on the second floor. It consisted of four rooms, as well as a kitchen and two workrooms. The composer changed more than ten apartments during his stay in Vienna. He lived the longest in this apartment. It was in this apartment that he worked on the opera "The Marriage of Figaro", as well as other outstanding works.

Museum-apartment of Mozart, Austria The museum's collection has been constantly updated since its opening. It became so large by 2006 that it was necessary to reconstruct the historical building and convert new areas for storing exhibits. The museum occupies three floors of the building today. The total area of its rooms is more than 1,000 square meters. The museum is located on one of the streets of the Old City, near the Cathedral of St. Stephen.

The composer's work was at the peak of fame during the period when he lived in luxury apartments. Mozart could afford to rent the most luxurious apartments in the late 19th century. You can see not only the composer's personal belongings and manuscripts, but also unique works of art and antiques that once decorated the rooms of his apartments. The composer received many famous friends in his apartment. A separate exhibition of the museum is also dedicated to them. The third floor of the museum is dedicated to the history of Vienna in the second half of the 18th century.
