Inveraray Castle has its own outstanding story. It was built in a picturesque mountain area in the western Scotland. The castle looks like a castle in a Gothic style than a fortress. Tourists and locals like to walk in the nearby area. The main material for the building was chosen a blue-grey stone that was taken from the nearby quarries. The building is a good example of a combination of Baroque and Gothic styles.

Inveraray Castle, Scotland The castle was built in 1771 for Campbell family. It was used by them for about a hundred years. The fortress has not only an original façade but also a marvellous inner decoration, some elements of which have saved until nowadays. It is believed that Inveraray Castle has the luxurious in Europe Dining Hall. The main decoration in this room is skilful wall and ceiling frescos. During the excursion, visitors can see a Gun Hall. It is famous for its high ceiling.

The palace has a great collection of art pieces. There are presented the original antique furniture, various paintings, sculptures and other interior decoration things. Not so far from the castle has placed a popular Loch Fyne Lake. There are usually held sailing competitions. The lakeshore has special places for fishing.
