Craigievar Castle, Scotland Craigievar Castle is a unique castle because there weren’t held many battles. 400-year-old castle has saved its unique elements of decoration. During the excursion, visitors can see a Great Hall that earlier was used for solemn events. If tourists look at the balconies for the musicians they will see numerous secret ways and staircases.

Nowadays the castle has a great collection of historical artefacts: furniture of the 17th-18th centuries and works of art. During the First World War, the castle was used for hospital needs. Unfortunately, a lot of valuable things were lost. The castle is surrounded by an old garden. It is a nice place for walks. There you can see a hundred years trees and, in the summertime, people can have a picnic or become a part of the open-air event. Excursions are organized only in summer. Next - Lochleven Castle
