One of the most beautiful and outstanding embankments in the world is the Toronto Central Waterfront. It was made up by the best specialists from DTA and West 8 architectural offices. Over the last several years the waterfront has drastically changed. There were made special roads for pedestrians and cyclists, equipped leisure zones and children's playgrounds. The new embankment has spread for 4 kilometers forward. During the walk you will see lots of breathtaking constructions.

The pedestrian zone is not usual. It has several waves of roads. These are the best places for children and roller skaters. The main part of constructions is made of wood. The eco-design was the general aim of the project.

The main sightseeing of the embankment is the wave-like construction "Spadin". Its square is over 620 square meters. It was built in 2008 from 3,5 thousand wooden planks and cost about 4 million dollars. The walk at the embankment will be interesting as in the daytime, as in the evening. When the sun sets, the waterfront lights with hundreds of engaged LED lights. This embankment is one of the modern and unusual in the world.
