The King's Theatre is located in Glasgow, Scotland. It is one of the most beautiful and known theatres in Scotland. It was built in 1904 in the baroque style by the famous architect Frank Matcham. In 1999 the restoration works were finished. The theatre has saved a number of the unique elements of decoration and the great façade.
Theatre visitors can see a marvellous crush-room with an arched ceiling. This hall is made with wonderful rouge and white marble. The main feature of the theatre is a four-stacked floor of the house with 1 800 seats. Visitors can go to the house using the ancient staircases that also are greatly designed. Since the building, the King's Theatre is a place for a lot of cultural events. There you can watch as modern musical plays as dramas and sometimes ballets.
