Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport, Kansas, was opened in the mid-60s as a municipal airport. The airport is located 10 km from the city of Wichita and is a commercial object. Now, the airport is the busiest air hub of the state. Initially, the airport was called “Mid-Continent Airport”. It gained its present name in 2015. The airport was named after the former president of the USA and the native of Kansas, Eisenhower.

These rental companies’ stands are situated in the covered garage. They are located at the first level of the garage, which facilitates and expedites the procedure of receiving and returning cars. To get to the rental center, you need to go out of the arrival concourse, pass by baggage conveyor belts, and go to the exit from the terminal. Then, go through the covered pedestrian crossing. The entrance to the car rental station is opposite the exit from the terminal.

Vehicles are received and returned to the same garage. When you enter the territory of the airport, it is necessary to follow the pointers to car return. In the garage, there is a special entrance and a separate line from the automated parking lot for rented car return at the ground level of the garage.

The parking area at the airport is a multi-level indoor garage. It is located opposite the passenger terminal and provides the services in accordance with the following tariffs: daily, short-term and long-term parking. In the territory of the airport, there are short- and long-term parking lots, as well as an economy lot behind the garage and Park and Ride (that is serviced by a free transfer). Parking in any lot is free if it does not exceed 30 minutes.

These hotels are: Best Western Airport Inn, Clarion Inn and Suites, Comfort Suites, Holiday Inn Express and Suites, Hyatt Regency, La Quinta Inn and Suites, Springhill Suites, Marriott. The nearest hotel is Double tree by Hilton that is located only 800 m from the terminal.
