Driving limousine through sights of Minneapolis
Food traditions of Minneapolis were significantly impacted by the cuisine of Nordic countries. At local restaurants, you can taste different seafood and fish dishes. They also offer special gastronomic delicacies, for example, lutefisk, an unusual fish dish that is very popular in Norway.
This dish is one of the most unusual and extraordinary delicacies in the world. Even its recipe can astonish experienced gourmets. The lutefisk is cooked of dried fish, primarily cod. Dried fish is soaked in alkaline solution for three days and in water for a few more days.

Then, the cod becomes soft and jellylike and acquires a distinct smell. Those who dare to taste such an unusual dish are delighted. In contrast to restaurants in Norway, in Minneapolis, fish is thermally treated after being soaked. It is fried, baked, or boiled.

In the city, there are a lot of restaurants that specialize in classic American cuisine. They will delight lovers of grilled meat. Here, you can taste different types of steaks and barbecue. Restaurants that offer modern American dishes have recently become popular. Here, you can have not only burgers or steaks, but also healthy dishes, for example, fresh vegetable salads, smoothies, and special vegetarian dishes.
