Airport location, terminals and transportation

Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport was opened in 1931 near the city of Little Rock, Arkansas. It handles over 2.5 million passengers annually. The airline hub doesn't perform direct international flights but is a primary maintenance concentrating centre for an integrated system of national airports. The airport was originally named Adams Field after G.G. Adams, a military pilot killed in 1937. During World War II, the U.S. Air Force was based at LIT. In 2012, the airport was renamed and got its current name. There are three runways, a helipad, and a terminal. The airport serves not only civil commercial flights but also military planes, general aviation, and air taxi.

You can take a taxi to the city on a parking lot next to Exit H from the baggage reclaim area near baggage carousel 1. You can use transfer and limousine services near Exit D, by the commercial transportation roadside. There's also a public bus stop next to Exit D.

Rental offices, how to find them, where to return car

There are several large car rental companies present at the airport: Avis, Alamo, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, Thrifty. The customer service offices are located on Parking Deck. To reach the offices, you need to leave the baggage reclaim hall through Exit E (opposite the second baggage carousel) and walk to the car rental centre using a pedestrian crossing.

The companies offer unlimited mileage. The rental price includes car accident and car theft insurance. The companies give cars with a full tank and require the same when getting cars back.

The cars are taken from Parking Deck near the terminal and returned to the same parking lot, to the car rental return area (unless another place is mentioned in the agreement).

Long-term and short-term parking, hotels nearby

A parking complex consists of a long-term and short-term open-air parking lots and a roofed parking lot connected with the terminal by a pedestrian overpass. The long-term parking lot is served by free transfer. There's Peanut lot near the short-term parking lot. Little Rock Airport offers valet parking services. Unloading of passengers is allowed before the terminal. Loading of passengers is allowed in the area of Exit D from the terminal.

There are enough hotels in the vicinity of the airport: Comfort Inn, Crowne Plaza, Days Inn, DoubleTree by Hilton, Embassy Suites, Four Points by Sheraton, Holiday Inn, Courtyard Little Rock Downtown, etc.
