A few years ago the ancient fountain was supplemented by an excellent illumination system and was taught to 'dance'. For the first time the fountain was connected in 1927. The construction of Buckingham Fountain cost 750,000 US dollars to the organizers. The author of the Fountain Idea was Kate Buckingham, who dedicated him to her deceased brother.
