Use your car to explore sights of Cambridge

In Cambridge is the world-famous Peabody Museum of Archeology and Ethnology, located in the Territory of Harvard University. In total, the museum has about 6 million exhibits, which were founded in 1866. One of the most valuable exhibits is artifacts obtained during archaeological research of the ancient Mayan cities. Now the museum stores exhibits delivered from the most diverse archaeological areas of the world. Its collection continues to be continuously replenished and expanded.

Nearby is another interesting cultural center, Harvard Museum of Natural History. It was founded relatively recently, in 1995. This large complex combined three previously existing museums. It houses one of the largest collections of minerals in the world, as well as incredibly interesting herbariums and other exhibits related to zoological themes. In this museum, there are skeletons of prehistoric animals. The most unusual exhibits are the models of rare plants made of glass.

Among the interesting historical sights of Cambridge is the Cambridge City Church of Christ, which was built in 1761. In the late 18th century, the church building was converted into soldiers' barracks. During this period the church lost its organ, the pipes of which were melted into bullets. The church restored its religious significance in 1775. It held the first Christmas Mass in many years.
