Continue your acquaintance with Stockholm with a walk in Brunkebergs tunnel . This unique pedestrians only tunnel was built yet at the end of the 19th century in order to link two large districts of Stockholm – Östermalm and Norrmalm. Several years ago, the underground structure started drawing the attention of internationally famous people. Several famous movies and music videos were filmed in the tunnel. It’s not hard to find the entrance to the tunnel – it is located near the building 6 on David Bagares gata Street and the building 1a on Tunnelgatan Street.
The construction of the tunnel was much caused by an outstanding invention – Alfred Nobel introduced his newest discovery, dynamite. If the famous scientist and his works attract you, don’t forget to visit Winterviken . This is the place where Nobel tested his invention more than a hundred years ago. The results of dynamite explosions are seen even nowadays – there are still half destroyed tunnels not far from Rnsberg metro station.

While walking in the city park, find an old pet cemetery in one of the distant corners. The cemetery was founded by famous writer and dramatist August Blanche in the 19th century. When his beloved dog died, he decided to bury it among lush bushes of the park. Later, many local people followed Blanche’s example. There is even a circus horse buried there. The horse participated in Det Sjunde Inseglet movie. It’s not that simple to find the unusual landmark. It takes nearly 10 minutes to reach the cemetery from Kaknas Tower.
