If during the police check the vest is found in the trunk, the driver may have to pay the fine of 100 euro. It is also recommended to have a set of spare bulbs and a fire extinguisher in the car.
In Slovenia, it is not allowed to use studded tires. Dangerous roads, where it is recommended to use snow chains, are marked with appropriate signs.
When it comes to radar detectors, we should mention that in Slovenia there is no law that prohibits their use. However, the use of radar detectors is strictly prohibited. The fine for this violation is 400 euro, and the banned equipment is subject to confiscation.
