Family car rental in Ponce

The segments of standard, intermediate and full-size cars in Puerto Rico traditionally include the following vehicles: Pontiac Grand Prix, Chevrolet Impala, Oldsmobile Alero, Hyundai Elantra, Toyota Avensis, Nissan Primera and others.

The process of a car reservation on OrangeSmile.com consists of 3 simple steps: (1) search by the dates and pick-up location, (2) car type selection, and (3) booking form completion. After the booking, you will receive a rental voucher at your e-mail address.

Before selecting a specific model to book, check your planned routes. If you are going to drive mostly within the Ponce borders, choose a car of 'Standard' or 'Compact' types. In case you plan long cross-countries trips or mountain adventures, the more comfortable and powerful 'Fullsize' models would become a better choice.

If you need a car with an automatic gearbox, try to make a reservation at least a few days before the pick-up date, since confirmation of such models in Ponce might be delayed for a day or two.

Upon the return of your car, carefully check that the total payment amount (invoice) is computed according to the original rental conditions.

We wish you 'smooth', secure and safe roads in Ponce!

Traveling in Ponce with family car
A quite unusual tourist attraction is a museum called Park Bombay. It can be found in the old fire station building dated 1882. It had served the city until 1990 and later was closed. A very interesting museum was established in the building, the exhibits of which include old equipment used for extinguishing fires, as well as old photos of firefighters and other firefighting accessories.
Another historic building with a facade painted in bright yellow is the Ponce Massacre Museum. It depicts an important historical event that occurred in Puerto Rico on Palm Sunday, 21 March 1937. The annual festival held in the city turned into an indiscriminate shooting, which resulted in the death of several hundred people. According to the official version, the fire was opened by the police. The museum stores old photos taken at the site of the tragedy, as well as various artifacts and historical documents relating to the events of 1937.

Lovers of picturesque nature should definitely go on a tour of Gilligan's Island, which is part of a unique biosphere reserve. The island is extremely popular among scuba diving lovers where they can enjoy and explore its wonderful coral reefs and exotic fish.
