Car Rental in Riga

Family car rental in Riga

The segments of standard, intermediate and full-size cars in Latvia traditionally include the following vehicles: Audi A4, Renault Scenic, Peugeot 508, Ford Mondeo, Hyundai Elantra, Mazda 6 and others.

The process of a car reservation on OrangeSmile.com consists of 3 simple steps: (1) search by the dates and pick-up location, (2) car type selection, and (3) booking form completion. After the booking, you will receive a rental voucher at your e-mail address.

Before selecting a specific model to book, check your planned routes. If you are going to drive mostly within the Riga borders, choose a car of 'Standard' or 'Compact' types. In case you plan long cross-countries trips or mountain adventures, the more comfortable and powerful 'Fullsize' models would become a better choice.

If you need a car with an automatic gearbox, try to make a reservation at least a few days before the pick-up date, since confirmation of such models in Riga might be delayed for a day or two.

Upon the return of your car, carefully check that the total payment amount (invoice) is computed according to the original rental conditions.

We wish you 'smooth', secure and safe roads in Riga!

The Sweden Gate.
The Sweden Gate is the youngest and the only surviving gate from the 25 gates that once existed in Riga.
St. Jacob Church
The church of St. Jacob is the only church in Riga with "the bell on the balcony". The first mention of the church dates back to 1225. The thin and slender tower of the church is really unique because of the church bell that is located outside, and not inside the church. During its long history, the church managed to serve both the Catholics and the Lutherans. After the Reformation in the XVI century, the church hosted first divine services of the Latvian Lutheran community in Riga. Currently, the church belongs to the Catholic Church.

Riga is beautiful in any season, but tourists are usually recommended to visit it in the fall.
