Car Rental in Fukuoka

Convertible rental in Fukuoka

The most widespread cabriolet models offered for rent in Japan are: BMW 3 series Cabriolet, Peugeot 206 Cabriolet, Renault Megane Cabriolet and Ford Mustang Convertible.

At the booking time, please check the rental conditions carefully. Quite often, rental offices in Fukuoka require two credit cards to guarantee issuance of a cabrio or a roadster.

We recommend ordering additional no-excess insurance that covers your risk (franchise), since the franchise amount for cabriolets in Japan is quite high.

Make sure to inspect the rental invoice issued at the office in Fukuoka and compare it with the information indicated in your voucher. Sometimes, rental officers make 'unintentional' mistakes in rental invoices.

In parking garage, examine the vehicle for defects and scratches carefully. If you find any of them, check whether they have been specified in your rental document.

When parking a cabriolet in Fukuoka, it is recommended to unfold the roof and close windows in order to prevent theft or robbery.

OrangeSmile.com wishes you an exciting journey with an open roof around Japan!

Driving Advices for Japan – Traffic Regulations and Road Usage Peculiarities
Previous hints
There are beautiful electronic scoreboards installed along busy roads. They provide drivers with useful information. For example, these scoreboards are used to alert drivers about the place of repair works on the road.
There are often kanjis painted directly on the asphalt close to pedestrian crossings. The meaning of the characters remains unclear for the majority of foreign visitors. In fact, there is nothing special about these road signs. They simply remind drivers to slow down before the “zebra” crossing.
Even sidewalks here have a specific markup. Most of them are divided into two lanes. One of them is dedicated to pedestrians and the other one - for cyclists. In order to eliminate all misunderstandings between the groups, each “lane” on the sidewalk has a corresponding graphic sign.
