Car Rental in Naples

Convertible rental in Naples

The most widespread cabriolet models offered for rent in Italy are: BMW 3 series Cabriolet, Peugeot 206 Cabriolet, Renault Megane Cabriolet, Audi A3 Convertible, Audi A4 Convertible and BMW Z4 Roadster.

At the booking time, please check the rental conditions carefully. Quite often, rental offices in Naples require two credit cards to guarantee issuance of a cabrio or a roadster.

We recommend ordering additional no-excess insurance that covers your risk (franchise), since the franchise amount for cabriolets in Italy is quite high.

Make sure to inspect the rental invoice issued at the office in Naples and compare it with the information indicated in your voucher. Sometimes, rental officers make 'unintentional' mistakes in rental invoices.

In parking garage, examine the vehicle for defects and scratches carefully. If you find any of them, check whether they have been specified in your rental document.

When parking a cabriolet in Naples, it is recommended to unfold the roof and close windows in order to prevent theft or robbery.

OrangeSmile.com wishes you an exciting journey with an open roof around Italy!

Driving Advices for Italy – Traffic Regulations and Road Usage Peculiarities
Previous hints
Drivers can calculate the cost of toll motorways by themselves. There is a scoreboard at the entrance of each highway. The scoreboard indicates the “unit rate” (the price per 1 km). Simply multiply the unit rate by the number of kilometers passed, and add 20% (VAT) to the resulting amount.
The unit rate is not constant and it depends on the type of a road, its management company and the type of a vehicle. The unit rate of a flat highway for cars can be approximately 0.06 - 0.07 euro.
It is very easy to pay for a toll road. Simply overcome a system of entry barriers and get a ticket for the payment (which can be made in cash or by a credit card). Do not enter a highway by crossing a yellow line – this entrance is made for vehicles equipped with an automatic TELEPASS payment system.
