Car Rental in Dublin

Family car rental in Dublin

The segments of standard, intermediate and full-size cars in Ireland traditionally include the following vehicles: Mercedes C Class, Mercedes A Class, Toyota Avensis, Hyundai Sonata, Renault Scenic, Renault Megane and others.

The process of a car reservation on OrangeSmile.com consists of 3 simple steps: (1) search by the dates and pick-up location, (2) car type selection, and (3) booking form completion. After the booking, you will receive a rental voucher at your e-mail address.

Before selecting a specific model to book, check your planned routes. If you are going to drive mostly within the Dublin borders, choose a car of 'Standard' or 'Compact' types. In case you plan long cross-countries trips or mountain adventures, the more comfortable and powerful 'Fullsize' models would become a better choice.

If you need a car with an automatic gearbox, try to make a reservation at least a few days before the pick-up date, since confirmation of such models in Dublin might be delayed for a day or two.

Upon the return of your car, carefully check that the total payment amount (invoice) is computed according to the original rental conditions.

We wish you 'smooth', secure and safe roads in Dublin!

Traveling in Dublin with family car
Dublin Castle is the main historical attraction of the city. The beautiful construction was built during the colonial era. This is a powerful fortification with thick walls surrounded by a high stone wall and a moat. For many centuries the castle has remained an impregnable fortress. Today the territory of the old castle is open to public. Thanks to the fact that during its existence the castle has not been ambushed, the building has survived to this day in its original form. Today the spacious halls of the fortress are used for various celebrations and official meetings. Visitors of the city will be interested in walking in the territory of the castle and looking to its inner premises.

The territory of the fortress is also home to old Gothic church of Most Holy Trinity, which is definitely worth visiting. Speaking of religious sites of the city, we simply cannot fail to mention St. Patrick's Church as this is the largest building of its kind in Ireland. The opening of the church took place in the first half of the 13th century. During its long history the church was repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt. The only element of the buildings that has survived from the very first church is a font, which is located above the old chapel. The church houses many interesting sculptures and monuments, which depict representatives of noble families and famous graphs.
