Car Rental in Plovdiv

Convertible rental in Plovdiv

The most widespread cabriolet models offered for rent in Bulgaria are: BMW 3 series Cabriolet, Peugeot 206 Cabriolet, Renault Megane Cabriolet and Audi A3 Convertible.

At the booking time, please check the rental conditions carefully. Quite often, rental offices in Plovdiv require two credit cards to guarantee issuance of a cabrio or a roadster.

We recommend ordering additional no-excess insurance that covers your risk (franchise), since the franchise amount for cabriolets in Bulgaria is quite high.

Make sure to inspect the rental invoice issued at the office in Plovdiv and compare it with the information indicated in your voucher. Sometimes, rental officers make 'unintentional' mistakes in rental invoices.

In parking garage, examine the vehicle for defects and scratches carefully. If you find any of them, check whether they have been specified in your rental document.

When parking a cabriolet in Plovdiv, it is recommended to unfold the roof and close windows in order to prevent theft or robbery.

OrangeSmile.com wishes you an exciting journey with an open roof around Bulgaria!

You may be required to pay an additional fee for the use of some bridges. The bridge of Ruse – Giurgiu is one of them. The ferry services are also paid separately. The cost of transporting a conventional car can range from 7 to 23 euro.
The minimum allowed speed on the highway is 50 km/h. If you drive slower than 50 km/h without a particular reason (for example, your car is broken and it cannot move faster), then it is considered a serious violation. However, in some pedestrian zones the maximum allowed speed is only 20 km/h.
Local petrol stations sell diesel fuel and unleaded gasoline (95 and 98). Drivers are allowed to carry up to 10 liters of petrol in the car. Gas filling stations are also common in Bulgaria, but it will be rather difficult to find one away from big cities, as they are not very common in the country.
