Over the sights of Adelaide by car
Amongst the religious attractions, the St Peter’s Cathedral should be primarily highlighted. The cathedral is famous for its beautiful stained glass windows. Nearby you can find a park in which you can take a break from the bustle of the world. Built in 1869 in the neo-gothic style, the temple is a remarkable example of this style. The beautiful Holy Trinity Church, which is an important architectural monument, can boast also of being a significant historical component. The cathedral was built in 1836 and is the oldest church in Adelaide. Scots Church, beautiful in its simplicity, is striking from the very first minutes. The church’s stained glass windows are very attractive. The city also has a mosque which was built in the 19th century.

You can take a wonderful walk through the Victoria Square, also known as Tarntanyangga. Here you will come across many interesting sights – monuments and fountains. The building itself is surrounded by architecturally interesting buildings like the Hotel Hilton, St Francis Xavier’s Cathedral, Sir Samuel Way Building, Adelaide Magistrates Court and the Supreme Court of South Australia which are a pleasure to look at. It is also interesting to have a peek at the building of the Geneal Post Office, which is built in Victorian style. The interior also corresponds to the Victorian era, that way, you do not need to visit a palace of that time to feel the atmosphere, just go to the post office to send a postcard.
