Car Rental in Brisbane

Family car rental in Brisbane

The segments of standard, intermediate and full-size cars in Australia traditionally include the following vehicles: Hyundai Elantra, Toyota Avensis, Hyundai Sonata, Renault Scenic, Renault Megane, Nissan Maxima and others.

The process of a car reservation on OrangeSmile.com consists of 3 simple steps: (1) search by the dates and pick-up location, (2) car type selection, and (3) booking form completion. After the booking, you will receive a rental voucher at your e-mail address.

Before selecting a specific model to book, check your planned routes. If you are going to drive mostly within the Brisbane borders, choose a car of 'Standard' or 'Compact' types. In case you plan long cross-countries trips or mountain adventures, the more comfortable and powerful 'Fullsize' models would become a better choice.

If you need a car with an automatic gearbox, try to make a reservation at least a few days before the pick-up date, since confirmation of such models in Brisbane might be delayed for a day or two.

Upon the return of your car, carefully check that the total payment amount (invoice) is computed according to the original rental conditions.

We wish you 'smooth', secure and safe roads in Brisbane!

Driving Advices for Australia – Traffic Regulations and Road Usage Peculiarities
Previous hints
All toll road sections are located in major cities. Moving between cities is always free, regardless of the road. Moreover, all toll roads are duplicated by free roads, so motorists can always choose what road to drive.
Toll road sections are marked with red or purple color in all maps, and free roads are marked with green. However, a ride on a toll-free road usually takes a little longer than a ride on a toll road.
If you had driven to a toll road accidently, you should leave it as soon as possible. Such an action will certainly be considered a violation, however, the fine for it will be relatively small (a few minutes of driving will cost you approximately 10 - 15 dollars instead of 77 – the fine for driving on the entire toll road section without paying).
