One of the most amazing places for diving is in Kaunas. Kaunas forts, flooded in the early 20th century, are among the most unusual dive sites in Europe. You won’t find unique underwater inhabitants, but you can make an incredible and exciting walk along the underwater tunnels and corridors. Lake Plateliai is popular among divers. It features the sunken yacht, the ruins of an ancient bridge, crosses, and sculptures from an ancient castle. An excellent visibility and good conditions make diving comfortable even for beginners.
