An adventure park in Sigulda has become a favorite recreation facility for both tourists and residents of Latvia. It can be found in the Gauja National Park. It is conventionally divided into 2 parts. Its lower part is located near the banks of the river Gauja, and the upper part is in Sigulda's new-built site. Thanks to this, there is a height difference of 91 meters between the two parts. This made it possible to build the longest Rodeli route in the Baltic countries. The descent speed reaches 40 km/h. The descent time is only 5 minutes, but you'll have enough time to enjoy wonderful beautiful views of the river Gauja's valley. On the growing trees, there is an obstacle course. It includes a climbing wall, netting, cycling on a rope, descent on a special roller. There is an opportunity to feel free fall through catapult throwing. Another original attraction is Stromberg's bike. You can ride it on a 40-meter rope suspended at a 5-meter height. Sigulda has the only ride in the Baltic States for bungee jumping off a cable car. The cable car stops at a height of 42 meters above the River Gauja. All that's left is to take a leap into the abyss.
Active tourists can feel like birds flying in a vertical wind tunnel, the first one in Eastern Europe. The artificially generated airflow with a speed of up to 200 km/h can rise up any visitor with a weight of up to 100 kilograms and a height of up to 2 meters. Thrill-seekers will be able to go paragliding with an instructor along the Baltic Sea shoreline. The flight altitude is up to 40 meters, the speed is up to 10 meters per second! This adventure requires wind from the west or north-west. There is also the possibility of paragliding in the capital of Latvia, which does not depend on weather conditions. Those wishing to enjoy a sea trip on a 14-meter yacht will be able to book this kind of tour to the gates of the Baltic Sea. You will have 4 hours of the sea voyage. If desired, one can order a weekly cruise or a two-day trip to the island of Ruhnu. Copyright
