The main attraction of Kota Kinabalu is the beautiful Mosque Sabah. The incredibly harmonious large-scale architectural complex is located in the very heart of the city. The mosque can accommodate up to 5,000 parishioners at a time. The spectacular snow-white building with beautiful domes and high turrets has a completely unique look, next to the mosque is no less beautiful and large square. In the same place, you will find Signal Hill, the top of which offers an excellent panoramic view of the city and the coast. Signal Hill Observatory Platform was equipped here for numerous travelers. As for cultural institutions, the most interesting and visited one is Sabah State Museum. It is housed in a quite unusual structure built in the image of traditional huts of the Murut and the Rungus people. The collection of the museum's exhibits is very diverse, including unique historical artifacts, ancient jewelry and artworks, handicrafts and household items demonstrating specific features of the life of the indigenous population. One of the most interesting expositions is the one dedicated to the climatic features of the region.
