The beautiful Russian town of Kolomna is situated at the confluence of the Moskva and Oka Rivers. This is the oldest settlement in the vicinities of Moscow. In the past, Dmitry Donskoy enjoyed visiting this area. Modern Kolomna has an interesting combination of imperial Russian and Soviet architectural styles.
